NVIDIA has provided a firmware update that has revealed a potential problem for its 5060 and 5060 IT RTX on some older systems. Apparently GPUs can cause black screen to restart, something that was not reported by users, but the company is already correcting.
The problem mainly affects motherboards in Legacy mode, so Nvidia recommends users to ensure that they are in the most current versions of BIOS, known as UEFI. If the board cannot support, the company recommends contacting the manufacturer for a BIOS Legacy Update.
In addition, Nvidia also says that the firmware update should be done only by users of RTX 5060 or 5060 Ti who are facing the problem. If your system could be affected, but for any reason it is not happening, the company does not recommend update.
