Realme 12x Changes

On the outside, the Realme 12x looks similar to the other models in the line, but there have been several changes internally. The cameras have fewer megapixels, the screen has a lower resolution, the sound system is more limited and the battery charges at a reduced speed.

In the camera department, the Realme 12x has a 50 MP main sensor, capable of recording Full HD videos at 30 frames per second. There is also a 2 MP depth lens and an 8 MP front camera.

Regarding the screen, it maintains the IPS type, but has an LCD panel that offers only HD resolution. But, despite the drop in resolution, it still maintains support for a frequency of 120 Hz, ensuring more fluidity when using it, especially in relation to operating system animations.

The other changes to the Realme 12x are that its sound system has just one speaker, and the 5,000mAh battery now supports 15W charging.

Model guarantees access to 5G

In terms of performance, the smartphone maintains the power of the standard version, and continues to be equipped with the Mediatek Dimensity 6100+ chipset, the same processor present in the Realme 12. Complementing the specifications, the device comes with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.

The Realme 12x arrives as a more basic smartphone model, but its difference is that it offers 5G connection and advantages such as the IP54 certificate, which guarantees resistance to dust and splashes of water.

The device also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and compass. It runs Android 14 operating system with Realme UI 5.0 on top.
