One of the first reviews for Radeon RX 9060 shows promising plaque performance. The content comes from the Korean channel Technosaurus, revealing that the plate is ahead of the RTX 5050, its direct competitor, as it approaches the 9060 XT RX and even the 8GB RTX 5060.
The Radeon RX 9060 (NO XT) is the new RDNA 4 input 4 option, equipped with only 8GB GDDR6 memory. Still, the plate managed to stay in front of RTX 5050 consistently in the games tested by the channel.

Unfortunately the graphics were released with the names of Korean games tested. It is worth mentioning that the biggest performance difference was Red Dead Redemption 2, where Radeon RX 9060 delivered twice the frame count per second compared to RTX 5050.

The good results of the plate encouraged the channel to test it against more expensive models, with the results shown in the above comparison. We can see that the RX 9060 is not far behind RTX 5060 and RX 9060 XT, even though it is a more affordable model.
Radeon RX 9060 looks promising, but it will be difficult to buy
Technosaurus reports that the RX 9060 would be price at the range equivalent to $ 250 to $ 280. This puts the GPU in the same range of RTX 5050, but delivering performance of 20% to 30% better.
This makes the plate quite competitive, but this will not be an easy model to achieve. AMD has decided to offer the GPU only on systems already assembled its partnerships at first.

We do not know if the board will have any launch for the DIY segment at some point, so for now interested need to buy a full PC or focus on the second hand market to get a RX 9060 Radeon without XT in the name.
