Radeon Pro W9000 can appear on Computex 2025 with 32GB GDDR6 and Navi 48 XTW [RUMOR]

AMD should have new RDNA 4 -based variants soon. According to unofficial information, the company prepares to reveal its Radeon Pro W9000 on Computex 2025, which starts in mid -May. Workstations and high performance GPUs will be based on Navi 48 XTW, according to the leakage.

Navi 48 already appears in Radeon RX 9000 focused on PCs, but AMD determines the number of shaders activated and other technologies by the acronym that comes later. The Radeon RX 9070 XT, for example, uses a Navi 48 XTX, which would have all its shaders activated.

Thus, a Navi 48 XTW would have another differential from its domestic version, not just the counting of these units. Most likely, AMD has still reserved technologies for GPU NAVI 48 to do better in workloads in the Radeon Pro W9000.

The information comes from Hoang Anh Phu, known insider in the middle of the hardware. It draws a lot of attention that he mentions that AMD will opt for the 32GB GDDR6 capacity on its new HPC video card.

The “leak” information makes sense, since Navi 48 has a 256-bit interface that allows a maximum of 32GB in Clamshell mode. However, the result will be a new Radeon Pro generation with less capacity than its predecessor.
