Hideo Kojima added another special edition console to its collection. The developer who has already shown that he owns a PlayStation 4 launched in celebration of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Painshared a video on his X account in which he appears in an office taking the PS5 Pro in its 30th anniversary edition of the PlayStation brand.
In the caption of the post, the developer wrote: I received the PlayStation 5 Pro 30th Anniversary Limited Edition. Thank you very much.

The commemorative edition of PS5 Pro presented by Hideo Kojima in the video is part of the pack special in celebration of 30 years of the PlayStation brand. Sony began pre-sales of this package in November. Other items were also sold:
- PlayStation 5 Digital Edition: 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle, featuring limited digital edition PS5 console, DualSense wireless controller, and disc drive console cover (disc drive sold separately).
- PlayStation Portal Remote Player: Limited 30th Anniversary Edition, available for individual purchase.
- DualSense wireless controller: Limited 30th Anniversary Edition, available for individual purchase.
- DualSense Edge wireless controller: Limited 30th Anniversary Edition, available for individual purchase.
All products share an aesthetic pattern that recalls the color scheme of the first version of the PlayStation, launched in 1994.
Availability and demand for the 30th anniversary PS5 Pro
The commemorative edition of the PS5 Pro was not officially sold in Brazil. In regions where it was available, the product sold out quickly due to high demand.
With the shortage, resales appeared on platforms like eBay, with astronomical prices that exceed the equivalent of R$200,000 for the special edition.
