A Acerthrough its high-performance products division Predator, announced a new version for the mini-PC Orion X.
In addition to opting for a case with a design inspired by a space capsule, the configuration includes an RTX 4090 with a customized liquid cooling system and the 24-core, 32-thread Core i9-14900KS, 14th generation Core processor.
The “little monster” weighs around 9 kg and also includes a custom 240mm watercooler system, with RGB.
Division into Zones
Zone 1 allows easy access to the processor, power supply and SSSD, Zone2 has the graphics card and two 2.5-inch bays for storage drives. Zone 3 has the processor’s water cooler, close to Zone 1, where the processor is located.
32 GB RAM and 2 M.2 SSDs
In its best configuration, the computer has 32 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM and 2 M.2 SSDs of up to 1 TB each. In terms of connectivity, Acer mentions USB 3.2, Gen2x2 Type-C, and the Intel Killer E3100G and Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E AX211 adapters.
Price and availability
The Predator Orion X will hit the international market in September, starting at US$2,999.99.
