PowerColor Radeon RX 9070 XT Red Devil appears in new teasers

PowerColor seems to be unable to wait any longer for CES 2025 and has started teasing its Radeon RX 9070 XT Red Devil on social media. This is the first AMD partner to officially show something about the company’s new series of GPUs based on RDNA 4.

It is important to note that the teaser does not call anything by name. We only see a very faint image of what appears to be the back of the plate, with the Red Devil line logo visible. It is most likely a Radeon RX 9070 XT, but this has not been officially confirmed.

The post above was made yesterday by PowerColor. Today, January 3rd, we had a new image published for the GPU, which can be considered more interesting.

In the most recent post we can see one of the ends of the card, which now has a large part illuminated in red, with a finish made to look like a precious stone embedded in the video card.

Comparing with the Radeon RX 7900 series (image below), we can see that PowerColor is preparing a radical change for the look of the RX 9070 XT.

Will Radeon RX 9070 XT also have a Reaper model?

In the first half of December, when AMD’s new RDNA 4 generation was still known as Radeon 8000, we had a leak that PowerColor intends to introduce a new line of cards, which will be called Reaper.

This would bring PowerColor’s total number of Radeon card families to seven, cementing AIB as one of AMD’s top partners. We are still in the rumors phase, so it is good to maintain the famous dose of skepticism.
