PNY launches RTX 5050 compact with less than 15cm

PNY presented this week its new compact RTX 5050. With just one fan, the AIB input plate measures less than 15cm and is focused on mini ITX builds and users who need to save space within the cabinet. Despite the reduced length, the plate still occupies two slots.

Apparently PNY focused only on reducing size as attractive to its new RTX 5050. In the technical detail part, the model maintains Nvidia’s default specifications for the GPU. That is, we have a video card with 2,560 CUDA and 8GB GDDR6 memory centers. The default clock is 2,317mHz, with Boost up to 2.572MHz, with a 130W TGP. The memory reaches 20gbps, with a total band of 320GB/s.

PNY’s new RTX 5050 compact 147 x 125 x 40mm. Interestingly, it is slightly larger than the compact RTX 5060 of the same brand, which measures 146.7mm in length. However, it is a negligible difference.

The video outputs of the plate are also inside the expected, with the presence of three ports Displayport 2.1BE an HDMI 2.1B. The GPU is fed by a single 8 -pin power connector.

PNY’s Compact RTX 5050 was introduced along with a two -faced version, with a very similar look and also without overclocking or unique features. The main difference is that the model now measure 200 x 120 x140m and should have better cooling conditions.

AIB did not disclose the suggested prices for its new GPUs. The simplicity of the models indicates that PNY must be seeking to offer options through Nvidia’s MSRP, which is $ 250. 8GB plates have been less popular today, so they can be more easily found at standard prices in stores.
