In this article we will bring our 2025 Gamer PC Guide for the second half of the year, updating our tips for building some PCs with the maximum performance we can get per real spent, creating some computer profiles that represent the diverse budget of Brazilian gamers.

He is a continuity. We already have two articles online where we talk about the best processors and the best video cards. You can hop over and check them out at the links below:

The first warning is that we will try to build balanced, more generalist PCs. Depending on what you want to do, you might need to adjust some parts a little. If you are a fan of competitive games, perhaps a stronger processor would be better. It will work with heavy video editing, more RAM is a good idea. Is your focus on 4K resolution and heavy graphics filters? Maybe an extra touch on the video card.

You can see our processors and video cards guide for references to these adjustments. There we have the maximum frame rate that a processor can handle, which one is best for working, or which video card tanks Quad HD, for example.

Basic parts of a gaming PC

Some of our decisions will permeate the entire guide. We will give preference to at least 16GB of memory, which is the minimum value for a Gamer PC and I would consider getting 32GB for more longevity and peace of mind. Even if the prices aren’t helping much.

SSD is the storage for everyone because the experience of using the machine is much superior: the operating system loads faster, applications are more responsive… even though it doesn’t provide more FPS, there’s no way to go back to HDs, even if it’s to save some money.

In general, we will oversize the font a little, since having more is better than not having enough, especially to also add extra fat and make an upgrade possible, if later on you decide to do more with the video card, for example.

Motherboards also have specific content about them, and here we will try to balance this component with the rest of the machine. If it’s a Cheap PC, let’s go with a cheap motherboard. As the budget improves, we’ll be taking care of ourselves with boards equipped with more features and capabilities.

Cabinet, monitor, keyboard, mouse, chair… then you have to fight. The market has infinite options, personal tastes vary a lot, so in this part we will let you go. Because, with so many options, this guide would be gigantic.

PC Gamer de R$ 2 mil (PC da Crise)

After a long time, an important change happened here. We are recommending an AM5 platform for our first computer for the first time. The reason is the performance gain that a Ryzen 5 8500G has over the Ryzen 5 5600G. So much so when we are just looking at the integrated graph of the two:

As for the performance gain if you combine it with a video card, later.

Ah, in this comparison there is no 5600G, but in general the Ryzen 5500 and 5600G perform very similarly, so the difference should be almost 40% appearing on the graph.

But this is not a decision without a cost. There are already very cheap options for AM5 motherboards, but what really doesn’t help is the memories. DDR5 memories cost almost twice the price. And things have gotten worse instead of better.

Because of this, our machine will break the R$2,000 budget a little. It was 200 reais more expensive than the PC in the previous guide, but it has a strong processor upgrade, integrated graphics and is on the AM5 platform, that is, it has a lot of new processor as an upgrade option for the future.

For the rest, a 650 watt power supply which is well above what you need to use just the integrated graphics, but which has the advantage of already being able to handle even intermediate video cards, if you upgrade in the future.

But if you really can’t spend that extra amount, even though it’s worth spending the extra, in my opinion, you will find machines under R$2,000, like this one from Pichau, to buy online based on the 5600G or 5600GT.

Just be very careful: buy 16GB of RAM and two memory modules, as is on this Pichau machine. This makes a difference in the performance of the integrated graphics, as we have already explained in a dedicated article about this.

PC Gamer from R$ 3 thousand (Cheap PC)

With a little more money, we moved away from integrated graphics and started building machines with a dedicated graphics card, which greatly increases our PC’s ability to play games.

The first graphics card that runs everything is the Radeon RX 6600. It remains our recommendation for someone who wants a card that runs everything. However, it has already felt the weight of the years, and heavier titles now have to run in Full HD, medium or even minimum quality.

PC Gamer from R$ 4 thousand (PC Baratinho Plus)

Are you in doubt about how much money you want to invest in a cool machine to play, the answer should be here. With a budget of around four thousand reais, we will now have some of the best pieces in the balance between cost and benefit on the market.

Starting with the graphics cards, now we take out the GeForce RTX 5060 and the Radeon RX 9060 XT. As we explained in the video card guide, these are the two best cards in terms of cost and performance for Full HD, so in addition to being able to handle Full HD in high or even Ultra quality, they are the ones that best use every dollar you invest.

The processor also got a bump in performance. The Core i5-14400F is a very competent model, with good performance in games and a few more cores and threads, which in addition to helping with stability during gaming, improve performance in professional applications and also the computer’s multitasking capacity.

With a cost of around R$4,500, you have a machine to play any game with ease in a good quality. But what if you want more? A machine that can handle more years of releases, or do you want more performance to work with? Let’s go to the next level!

PC Gamer de R$ 6 mil (PC Ideal)

If you want something more robust, a machine that can handle higher resolutions, like Quad HD, or will run heavy editing, rendering, or artificial intelligence software, the next level has more firepower in multiple parts to handle it all.

Starting with the processor, on the AMD side, we have the Ryzen 7 7700, that is, we now have an eight-core processor. Now, for the Intel bandwagon, the option is the very competent Core i5-14600K, and its 10 cores and 16 threads. A great bazooka for those who go to work on their PC.

These two processors are also very strong for games, delivering high frame rates and with enough threads to keep gameplay smooth, even in processor-heavy games.

We started including the suggestion of a liquid cooler here. It’s not something that is so necessary for the Ryzen 7, which a good air cooler can handle, but for the Core i5 we definitely recommend giving it some extra attention.

And speaking of games, this level includes cards that increase performance a little, as is the case with the RTX 5060 Ti, but the highlight is the 16GB memory configuration. In addition to being extremely useful for some professional applications, especially some AI models, this is an amount of memory that guarantees greater longevity for the system. 8GB, on cards at the previous level, is already listed as the minimum VRAM in some recent releases.

And now? What is the next investment? If you have the financial resources, there are very interesting things for those who can spend a little more. So let’s go!

PC Gamer de R$ 8 mil (PC High-end)

We already had good performance on the R$6,000 PC, so maybe now is the time for you to see what updates you should make. Maybe just the processor, if your focus is competitive games or professional use, maybe just more memory if you’re a video editor. Maybe just the video card, if you want to push the envelope at 1440p or Ultra graphics.

But in parts. Starting with the PC’s head, the Core i7-14700K processor has a truckload of cores and threads, and is the best option if you need processing power for your work. And for games it’s not bad

But what really shines if that’s your goal is the Ryzen 7 7800X3D. This processor has 3D V-cache technology, and it’s not the fastest we’ve ever tested. It only loses to the 9800X3D, currently.

And video card? With our current budget, the GeForce RTX 5070 is my favorite option. It has additional strength to handle Quad HD with great ease, in addition to being able to handle heavier graphic filters.

If you look carefully, you will see that the motherboard budget has also gone up. Personally, I did this because now that we have a PC like this, I don’t think it makes sense to save on the mainboard. Processors are also now more demanding, so it’s better to upgrade to something more compatible with greater demands.

But the motherboard is something you should define depending on the need. Sometimes you need more SSDs on your machine, or WiFi connection, or more USB ports. Take care to get a motherboard that has everything you need, and spend more to ensure you don’t miss anything.

And with that we already have an incredible computer. But you want… what. More? Okay, let’s go for more.

R$ 10 thousand Gamer PC (enthusiast PC)

Total price: R$9,965 / R$10,255

Our most enthusiastic machine has the processor upgrade, the 9800X3D, which will give 10% more performance. So instead of just super FPS blasters, your machine will deliver super ultra FPS blasters.

And regarding the video card, the chosen one is the RX 9070 XT. It is a card for “super ultra FPS blasters in Quad HD”, and plays with 4K too. On Nvidia’s side, the company has the RTX 5070 Ti which has very similar performance, but charges a thousand reais more for it. If you prefer Nvidia, it makes sense to go with it if you prefer Nvidia more.

Well, that’s it. If you want more than that, just go buy the RTX 5080, 5090. And if you want to fine-tune the settings, our CPU and GPU guides can give you an idea of how changing each of these parts will impact your machine.

And for those who only believe by watching, we should also bring videos playing with these configurations that we created, so you can see what it’s like to use each of them in different games. Keep an eye on the channel so you don’t miss these tests. And until next time!
