Patriot unveiled a series of memory modules during CES 2025 in celebration of its 40th anniversary. With the launches, it expanded its existing line of RAM Viper Xtreme 5 with a special 40th anniversary edition and a variant with built-in CKD (Client Clock Driver).
In the case of the 40th anniversary version, it comes on a blue heatsink emblazoned with the “40 Years” label, with speeds of up to 8,000 MT/s. And, as no special edition is complete without RGB, Patriot delivers the model with RGB on top of the heatsink.
Per hour, exact capacity and specifications are unknownhowever, as the regular version offers CL38 timing, one can expect something similar for the model.

As for the Viper Xtreme 5 CKD version, which does not have RGB, it can offer speeds of up to DDR5-9600. The kit has a silver tone, giving off a professional aesthetic. The CKD is a small chip that acts as a buffer and amplifies the clock signal, increasing stability and enabling higher frequencies.
Other products
Building on the success of its iLuxe series, Patriot introduced the iLuxe Stick C for Apple devices. This pen drive acts as a media backup solution for iPhones and iPads and has capacities up to 2TB.
Since modern mobile phones do not offer upgradable storage, this is a convenient solution to manage storage while preserving more valuable photos and videos. Just like the iLuxe Cube, the Stick C should offer a robust management system, assigning a dedicated folder to each Apple ID.
The company also introduced new CAMM2 and LPCAMM2 modules, CFExpress 2.0 cards, CKD-equipped memory kits, and several new SSDs, including its first DRAM-free PCIe 5.0 SSD.
