Canadian overclocker Saltycroissant was the first to exceed the 12,800 mt/s mark on the Z890 platform. He reached 12,806 mt/s on the Z890 Taichi OCF, establishing a new world overclocking record in DDR5.
Still recently, another world record had been established by the Overclocker Bl4ckdot a few weeks ago. At the time, he reached an incredible 12,774 mt/s. Possibly, It was the shorter record, being broken on the same day by Saltycroissant.
Overclocker Saltycroissant has already established several world records of DDR5 overclocking and once again emerged at the top with its incredible 12,806 mt/s. He used the Corsair Vengeance DDR5 memory to reach this speed in the Asrock Z809 Taichi OCFwhich remains one of the most popular motherboards for overclocking.

Process used
Overclocker used nitrogen cooling in the configuration, consisting of an Intel Core Ultra 7 265K, and made history when breaking the barrier of the 12,800 mt/s. Previous overclocking records remained in the range of 12,700-12,800 mt/s, and the speed reached by the BL4CckDot was only 2 MHz higher than its predecessor.

The value of 12,806 mt/s was reached with the same latency as the previous world record of the BL4CckDot, ie in Cl68-127-127-127-2. And it is very impressive to see that there is room for improvements without compromising the times. Asrock shared this update with pleasure in its official profile.
