Opera GX Live Wallpapers Now Let You Monitor Your PC’s Metrics in Real-Time

Opera GXthe browser for gamers, announced this week new animated wallpapers, adding system metrics to the GameMaker toolkit, the engine behind these wallpapers. This means that in addition to reactive and interactive visuals, the new wallpapers allow users to monitor useful information about their system in real time, without having to leave the browser.

Useful information such as the amount of RAM, CPU, GPU, battery level and bandwidth can be viewed directly from the browser.

Opera GX has initially launched four animated wallpapers that monitor system metrics. In all of them, users will be able to discover different forms of interaction, which take the experience far beyond a simple display. Users also have at their disposal several customization options, making the wallpapers truly their own.

Meet Uni

In this animated and interactive Tamagotchi-style wallpaper, the user can play with a cat named Uni in a variety of fun ways. In addition, this wallpaper interacts with system metrics and provides information about them in unique ways.
