ONIX appeared this week making its debut as a new AIB for Intel Battlemage. The brand has now officially revealed its first GPUs, bringing options for both Arc B580 and Arc B570, in addition to confirming that its name has just one “x”, not two.

Apparently, ONIX will only focus on the Chinese market, where the company has its headquarters. The company showed its new ONIX Lumi Arc B580 and ONIX Odyssey Arc B580 and B570 models there. In other words, we have three SKUs from the Battlemage series, two of which are aimed at the Arc B580, which arrives next week, December 13th.

According to information from VideoCardz, the new AIB has already confirmed that it also has a third series of products, the ONIX Atlas. At the moment, no GPUs in this line have been revealed, so it may be that closer to the launch of the Arc B570, next month, this variant will appear.

The graphics cards have the same measurements, but changes are made to the design and clock speed of the GPU. The Lumi version comes with factory OC, running at 2,740MHz, with a TBP of 203W. Furthermore, the model has a white housing and uses RGB lights.

The Odyssey models, in turn, appear to maintain the reference specifications for the Battlemage series, both the Arc B580 and the Arc B570.

Just as Intel made a small mistake when calling the brand ONIXX, it seems that AIB also made a mistake in publishing the specifications of its Battlemage cards. They appear with PCIe 5.0 x8 support.

Intel confirmed that the Arc B580 only supports PCIe 4.0 at launch, so either ONIX customized the GPU enough to feature the most advanced version of the interface, or this was an error in the spec listing.

More about Intel GPUs:

VideoCardz points out that the second alternative is more likely, and further endorses previous rumors that the Battlemage series would support PCIe 5.0 at some point. The information may have continued in the table after the final decision to keep the cards in PCIe 4.0.
