A Bandai Namco announced that One Piece Odyssey Deluxe Edition is now available for Nintendo Switch. Based on the popular anime and developed under the guidance of series creator Eiichiro Oda, the game features the Straw Hat Pirates’ sailing stories and includes story arcs such as “Marineford” and “Dressrosa.”
One Piece Odyssey Deluxe Edition includes the “Reunion of Memories” DLC. Sent back to Memoria, a world made up of their memories, the crew must face a new journey featuring fan-favorite story arcs, including Alabasta. The full content is as follows:
- One Piece Odyssey Base Game
- Additional Scenario “Reunion of Memories” (Playable after completing the base game)
- Travel Outfit Set
- Sogeking Suit Set
- Water City Costume Set (Newly added to Nintendo Switch)
“Take control of each member of the Straw Hat Pirates using their unique abilities for exploration or turn-based combat using the Battle Area and Dramatic Scene systems. With the Battle Area system, players can move through various areas of the fight with their characters to choose the best strategy and exploit the enemy’s weak points.
The Dramatic Scenes system pits players against each other in battles that recall memorable moments from ONE PIECE, allowing them to earn more experience by completing these tasks.
The game maintains the charm, humor and chemistry of the anime with its colorful art style and stunning visuals, as well as being voiced by the original Japanese actors from the series,” explains Bandai in a statement.
