Nvidia will again sell GPUS H20 to China soon, and announces a new model

Nvidia has announced in China that it will soon sell GPUS H20 again to the country. The company claims that it has already filed the necessary documents to get the official authorizations of the US authorities, and that the government has ensured that licenses will be granted.

The information came from Nvidia’s own CEO Jensen Huang, at an event in Beijing. He also revealed that the company has a new H20 -based plaque, which probably enabled the guarantees of licenses to sell again in the Asian country.

“The US government has assured Nvidia that licenses will be assigned, and Nvidia hopes to start deliveries soon,” says the company’s text on its official blog. The post adds that the new GPU RTX Pro will be “ideal for AI of digital twins, smart factories and logistics.”

In the same text, the company that most profits from IA in the world claims that technology has become as important to the world as the internet itself, or even literally vital resources, such as water and energy.

New H20 plate will still be a hopper?

Huang has promised that the new H20 will start selling soon in China, but has not offered official technical details for the GPU. We do not know the appearance or which other “sacrifices” were necessary for Nvidia to be able to sell the models in the country again.

In an interview in mid -May, the Jacket CEO commented that the successor of the H20 could no longer be a hopper, because the architecture would have reached the limit of what it can be “reduced” to meet export standards.

However, by maintaining the name H20 for the plate, the Videocardz staff estimates that we will still have an even more limited GH100 -based plate.
