NVIDIA reduces RTX 50 prices due to dollar devaluation

Nvidia seems to have made a price readjustment on its RTX 50 series in Europe. Over the past few weeks, the dollar has lost value compared to the euro, and the trend seems stable enough for the company to decide to reflect this on a price reduction of its GPUs.

According to Videocardz, the price reduction in RTX 50 has happened in several countries in Europe. But it is on Nvidia’s official website to Germany that we have updated prices, check out the changes below:

• NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 5090: From € 2,329 went to € 2,229 (-4.3%)
• NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 5080: From € 1,169 went to € 1,119 (-4.3%)
• NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 5070 Ti: It has not changed from € 879
• NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 5070: From € 649 went to € 619 (-4.6%)

It is curious that Nvidia chose to maintain the same price as RTX 5070 IT while all other RTX 50 had an almost proportionally equivalent reduction. As shown in the chart below, the price decrease reflects the devaluation of the dollar from the euro, which is close to 4%.

It is important to note that these price adjustments should not impact the availability of RTX 50 GPUs in Europe or world stores. In fact, it may even make no difference in the way AIBs determine the prices of their plates, something much more determined by market demand.

As is well known, it is currently very difficult to find an RTX 50 by MSRP, and stores with some stock in the signs are having trouble selling due to inflated values.

According to rumors and leaks, we should be close to the launch of 16GB RTX 5060 TI, while next month even more options come from Nvidia. It will be interesting to see how the introduction of RTX 50 input models impacts the current offer of video cards.
