During his presentation at Computex 2025 in Taipei, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang announced a new partnership with Foxconn to develop a Artificial Intelligence Supercomputer in Taiwan.

The project will be conducted in collaboration with the Big Innovation Companysubsidiary of FoxConn, who will act as a partner of Nvidia Cloud.

The infrastructure will house 10 mil GPUs NVIDIABlackwellnew company AI processing standard, and should cost hundreds of millions of dollars. Although it is smaller than the Supercluster the elon musk em memphiswhich has 200,000 GPUs, the investment represents an important technological advance in Asia.

Strategic applications and government support

The construction will be done with support from the Taiwan National Science and Technology Councilwhich intends to use the new structure as the basis to offer cloud computing capacity with to public and private institutions in the country. The idea is to expand access to technology and stimulate its adoption in areas such as education, research, industry and health.

In addition, the TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company) – NVIDIA’s largest chip manufacturer and main supplier – intends to use the supercomputer for research and development of new generations of semiconductorsmaking project processes faster and more efficient.

Power to transform industries

According to Nvidia herself, the new supercomputer will perform “superior magnitude ordersCompared to the previous generation systems, which makes it able to perform complex tasks of training, scientific simulations and real -time inference with very high energy efficiency.

Capacity will be necessary for companies such as TSMC and also for the Taiwanese startups and universities that are entering the sector of Generative, robotics and automation of industrial processes.
