Launched in early 2025, Nvidia’s new series of GPUS, which already has RTX 5090, 5080 and 5070 models, showed what came and enthusiasts – and those who have a crowded wallet – are already having the party with their turbocated machines. As it was expected, we will soon have the official announcement of the RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5050 models. But unlike what was previously expected, we will not wait for months, but weeks, until the release of new Nvidia babies.
What about the hollow specifications of RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5050? The information came through the recognized Leaker Kopite7kimi, who published the news on the social network X:

Among the highlights, we have the possible confirmation that the RTX 5060 IT will have two memory specifications, both GDDR7/128 bits, one of 8 GB and the second 16 GB. In addition it will be a GPU GPU model with 4608 cores, resulting in 256 more cores than its predecessor, the RTX 4060 Ti.
Another curious factor is that the same plate will be used by RTX 5050, confirming that it will use the smaller GB207-300 GPU, confirming that both GPUs are compatible with the same pins, and we can see similar designs in the RTX 5060/5050 series.
According to Leaker, the RTX 5050 is a 130W TGP model, which is 50W less than 5060 Ti and also 15W less than the supposed RTX 5060 not you – curiously not mentioned by kopitis in this leak. In addition, the RTX 5050 will feature 8 GB of GDDR6/128-bit memory, making it the only model of this new series to use this type of memory.
The new RTX 5060 and RTX 5050 models are expected to be announced in the coming weeks and its launch will take place between April and May 2025.
