NVIDIA has released a new version of its driver with update 561.09 WHQL, bringing optimizations and support to its GPUs and integrated graphics for upcoming major releases such as EA Sports FC 25, Frostpunk 2, Final Fantasy XVI and God of War Ragnarök.
It’s worth noting that both Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XVI and PlayStation Studios’ God of War Ragnarök were games that were only available on Sony consoles and will also receive a version on computers.
According to NVIDIA, in addition to the 561.09 WHQL driver bringing support and optimization for these titles on its hardware, it also improves experiences with DLSS 3 upscaling technology.

Major releases in September
It’s important to note that the month of September is full of good releases, covering a large part of the genres that fans invest a large part of their gaming time in.
EA Sports FC 25 follows Electronic Arts’ annual tradition of releases, bringing major updates to its featured teams, roster and also within the game’s general modes.
Final Fantasy XVI and God of War Ragnarök, as mentioned above, in addition to bringing great expectations on PCs – since they were only available on PlayStation – are also excellent representatives of the RPG and action/adventure genres, respectively.
And announced in 2021, Frostpunk 2 had a small delay in 2024 and promises to bring an epic sequel to its narrative – being released on PCs, PS5 and Xbox Series, in addition to arriving simultaneously on the Game Pass service.
