NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang has said that every RTX GPU user already has an “AI PC” — a computer focused on artificial intelligence — in their home.
The term is used for computers and notebooks equipped with processors that contain NPUs – enabling AI functions on their machines. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite, which equips Microsoft’s Copilot+ PC models, for example, have NPUs with 45 TOPS. AMD Ryzen AI 300s have up to 50 TOPS.
Echoing his own statement made in the past, Jensen Huang points out that NVIDIA’s RTX GPUs are superior in this regard and would better represent an “AI PC” than processors from other manufacturers.
Every RTX-powered computer is an AI PC. RTX-powered computers can deliver up to 1,300 TOPS, and there are over 200 RTX AI laptop designs out there from leading PC manufacturers.

Jensen Huang points out that this led to huge growth in the last quarter, exceeding their own expectations on the matter.
Our revenue was up 15% compared to the last quarter and up 122% compared to the same period last year. Well above our expectations of $28 billion.
