Nvidia would be secretly negotiating with Samsung, SK Hynix and Micron to use new “Socamm” memory modules on its successor project to Project Digits. The information was initially released by Sedaily.
According to the information, An Industry Insider revealed that “Nvidia and memory companies are currently exchanging SOCAMM prototypes to perform performance tests” and that “mass production may be possible by the end of this year.”
And if mass production is now close, it is reasonable to assume that the tests are already in advanced phases.

Advantages of SOCAMM modules
SOCAMM memory modules are a more economical pattern than regular DRAM modules for small PCs and laptops. While traditional PCs use DRAM modules in the SO-DIMM form (with DDR4 and DDR5 modules), the SOCAMM put LPDDR5X low power directly on the plate, with much better energy efficiency.
SOCAMM memory modules offer several advantages over the LPCAMM low power module, which is being promoted as the next DRAM module for laptops. The SOCAMM memory modules have a larger number of I/O channels, which are the roads that transfer signs between the DRAM and electronic devices:
