NVIDIA is about to establish a new global headquarters in Taiwan, according to information yet. The country’s press has reported that Jensen Huang, CEO and founder of the company, will make an announcement next week, taking advantage of the visit to Taipei for Computex 2025.
We do not yet have the confirmation of the decision by Nvidia, but it is entirely plausible for the company to declare Taiwan as its international headquarters. The big reason for this would obviously be its proximity to TSMC, the world’s largest semiconductor manufacturer.
Nvidia’s top GPUs feature TSMC chips, so the incorporation of the new global headquarters would not only bring logistical advantages, but also as a public demonstration of its narrow partnership with the Taiwanese manufacturer.
While we do not have a confirmation from the company that this will happen, the Taiwanese press reports that Nvidia will make its world headquarters in the country. The doubt would only be which specific place this will happen. The Taipei government would be encouraging the process, offering five different places for the company to choose.
Nvidia’s new global headquarters can be in Taipei City Flower Park
Among the locations that Nvidia would be considering for its new global headquarters, the Taipei City Flower Park stands out, according to unofficial information.
The park would be quoted for its beautiful landscapes and proximity to Songshan airport and a railway station.
The decision would not have been made by two disadvantageous factors for the park. The first is that the place belongs to the Taiwan army. It would not be a problem, since the Taipei government would be willing to acquire the site to use Nvidia, but the process takes time and the company, according to rumors, wants to start building its new headquarters immediately.

The second impediment is more theoretical. There is a place of archaeological excavation near the park, which would cause the concern for historical artifacts to be discovered during the excavation for the new NVIDIA facilities. If this happens, the construction would have to be interrupted and relocated.
If rumors are correct, this decision should be made by next week, when we will see Huang announce the new headquarters of your company.
