Nvidia would have plans to invest a total of $ 500 billion in AI servers in the US for the next four years. The value should come not only from the company, but also from its partners such as TSMC, Foxconn, Wistron, Amkor and Spil. Thus, the investment is intended for a whole chain ranging from infrastructure and research for chip production to ready -to -use servers.

Tom’s hardware reports that Foxconn and Wistron will work together in the construction of two facilities in Houston and Dallas. The project should start soon, with machinery being placed in the next 12 to 15 months.

Of course, Nvidia should offer project technologies for projects, such as Omniverse, a simulator of environments and 3D objects that has already been adopted by several of its clients in industrial production lines.

“The world’s AI infrastructure engines are being built in the United States for the first time,” said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of Nvidia. “Adding American manufacturing helps us better meet the amazing and growing demand for AI and supercomputer chips, strengthens our supply chain and boosts our resilience.”

NVIDIA seeks to escape US tariffs

Last week we had the unofficial report that the Trump administration would have given up baring the sending of GPUS Nvidia H20 to China after negotiating with Jensen Huang during a millionaire dinner. Part of the negotiation involved the promise of investing in AI in the US, so possibly today we are seeing the public side of this commitment.

TSMC is now ready to make Blackwell chips on its FAB 21 in Arizona. However, it is still necessary to send the components abroad in advanced packaging facilities in Taiwan. This is where the other partners of Nvidia, Amkor and Spil, who would be preparing to establish their own buildings of advanced packing, also in Arizona.

At the end of this process, having a whole chain for AI servers with its name in the US should bring tranquility to NVIDIA against future tariffs.
