“Non-Ultra” Intel Core 200 CPUs may be Raptor or Alder Lake-based

A new leak indicates that future Intel Core 200 series processors without “Ultra” in the name may not belong to the same Arrow Lake family of CPUs. According to Tom’s Hardware, the appearance of a Core 5 210H model reveals a component from the Raptor Lake series , or even Alder Lake.

The leak shows what could be some details of the Core 5 210H, and the processor is very similar to a Core i5-12450H. It has eight cores and 12 threads, but the table does not show what its cache would be. If it is an Alder Lake chip, it will have 7MB of L2 cache, while Raptor Lake comes in at 12MB, which already represents a difference.

The leak in question shows results from the supposed Intel Core 5 210H in CrossMark, where the processor scores 1,399 in the overall average. By comparison, Tom’s Hardware states that the Core i5-12450H generally sits around 1,445. In other words, we have a very close score, but it is always good to remember that engineering samples usually have a different clock compared to the final product.

If the rumor is confirmed, the Intel Core 200 family could look like this:

• Core Ultra 200K: Arrow Lake Desktop
• Core Ultra 200V: Lunar Lake
• Core Ultra 200H/HX: Arrow Lake Mobile
• Core 200U/H: Alder Lake / Raptor Lake Mobile

Intel Arrow Lake hits shelves soon

Intel has already officially launched its Core Ultra 200 line of Arrow Lake-S-based processors. Along with the debut, the company revealed that sales will begin on October 24th.

Meanwhile, non-K variants of the line should only be announced in January of next year, at CES. And this could happen along with the announcement of variants for notebooks.

So, we will wait a long time for any official confirmation about the “non-Ultra” Core 200.
