Noctua launches NF-A6x15, new 60mm fans for compact systems

Noctua launched its new series of 60mm NF-A6x15 fans this week. These are fans with a more compact size than what is normally seen for home PCs, and are therefore aimed at mini PCs, DIY projects and other smaller builds. Taking advantage of the arrival of these fans, the manufacturer also presented a new splitter cable.

As the name of the new series of fans indicates, they measure just 15mm thick, considerably less than the 25mm of the previously released NF-A6x25. Noctua offers its new fans in 5V or 12V versions, both with 3-pin and 4-pin PWM connectors. Below are some of the details of its specs:

• RPM: up to 3500 (+/- 10%)
• Air flow: 23.4m³/h
• Static pressure: 2.43mmH₂O
• Noise: up to 19.8dBA

Noctua highlights some of its design technologies incorporated into the fans, such as flow acceleration channels, which improve air passage, and the AAO frame. This structure reduces possible vibrations from the installed fan, reducing noise levels.

The new NF-A6x15 fans are now available on Amazon’s Noctua pages in the US and Europe. In the land of Uncle Sam they cost US$14.90, while on the old continent the price goes to €16.90. The values ​​are equivalent to R$86.25 and R$106.24, respectively.

As mentioned, Noctua took advantage of the launch of its new fans to also bring a new splitter cable. The NA-SC1 Sx2 is used to connect a single motherboard header to three different PWM fans. They are covered with silicone and fiberglass, and the manufacturer recommends them for both domestic and professional use.

Splitter cables are sold in a set of two units, and are also available now. They were advertised for US$9.90 in the US and for the same number in Europe, but in euros. Thus, the conversion is R$57.27 and R$62.23.
