Noctua this week announced its new fans NF-A12x25 G2, the new generation of its 120mm premium fans. The company promises better performance thanks to a “refined blades geometry and a new engine design”.
It is interesting that, according to Noctua, the NF-A12x25 G2 fans are “brothers’ NF-A14x25 G2 models, which were released for a long time. This is the 140mm version, which made its debut in October 2024, after a long time of development.
“The first generation of the NF-A12x25 has created a new level for 120mm fans and has become one of the most successful NOCTUA FAS of all time, so we are excited to be able to offer another significant boost in performance about this renowned model,” said Roland Mossig, CEO of the company.

Noctual offers three options for new fans
The new generation of Noctual’s 120mm premium fans can be purchased in three different configurations, just as the company makes with other products.
Interested parties can buy the standard PWM unit model, with up to 1,800 rpm and already appears in Amazon for $ 34.90. Anyone who wants less noise can opt for the NF-A12x25 G2 LS-PWM, which limits the fan rotation up to 1,100 rpm, and also comes out for the tabulated price of $ 34.90.
The third variant comes with two fans for Push-Pull operation. So they are fans who also reach 1,800 rpm, but maintain a difference of about 50 rpm between one and the other during use. The package comes out for $ 64.90.
The fans are premium products, following a package of accessories and 6 years of factory warranty. We do not have the sale forecast here in Brazil.
