Three weeks after revealing Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo is finally giving more details about its new console. Everyone already knew that Big N would do a Nintendo Direct on April 2, now the company has revealed the time: at 11 am, according to Brasilia time.
In X, former Twitter, the company shared the message:
Join us on April 2 at 6 AM PT for #NINTENDODIRECT: Nintendo Switch 2-4.2.2025, where we will share a closer look at #NintendosWitch2.
At the moment, it is unclear how long Direct will last. Even so, Nintendo can finally reveal the first games available to the platformincluding the long -awaited Mario Kart 9, which was mentioned during Switch 2 teaser.

Big has not yet revealed much of the information about Switch 2. For example, if you don’t even know your official dimensions, if Nintendo will actually use an LCD instead of OLED, its battery autonomy, and so on.
There are rumors that indicate that the boxes will be 40% larger than those of the current console, but there would be no clarity on the reflection on the power of the console hardware.
Some information is known. For example, Joy-Con controls also connect to the Nintendo Switch 2 magnetically and have a new C button and new triggers.
Nintendo also reiterated that while it is possible to play switch physical and digital games on Switch 2, certain switch games may not be supported or fully compatible. There will also be exclusive Switch 2 that will not work on the switch.
The new console ad trailer also suggests that it should bring Joy-Cons with mouse functionality.

Nintendo has already revealed that there will be a series of events Nintendo Switch 2 Experience in the United States and abroad in the coming monthswhere gamers will have a chance to try the console before its release later this year.
Unfortunately, Brazil was left out and the players will have to wait for the console to launch or a change of idea by the company.
