An analysis conducted by the Gamingtech channel shows that the display of the new device disappoints by not bringing what can be considered a real support to technology. According to him, the device works with a maximum glow of 450 nits, which varies depending on the game.
Running on Switch 2, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has a maximum shine of 420 Nits, while Cyberpunk 2077 uses the fixed value of 450 Nits. In addition, the product HDR is flawed because of the chosen LCD panel. In addition to not working with real black tones, it always has a minimum lighting of 0.5 nits on your rear panel.

Gamingtech’s analysis also showed that, in practice, HDR only becomes possible for Nintendo Switch 2 in its dock mode. However, the experience is still inconsistent depending on the game analyzed.
