The processor diagram that will be present on next generation Xbox may have leaked this week on the internet. Following the image, we have new information from a well -known insider, informing us that we can see a 10 Zen 6 and 20 threads component in the new console.
The leak first appeared on Moore’s Law is Dead, which has a debatable reputation in its constant hardware rumors. In the original video, the channel hosts reveal the diagram of an alleged semi -mustomized processor of AMD, Codiname Magnus. They evaluate that it could be the APU of the PS6.
On social networks, however, Kepler_L2 commented on the image. Insider has a great history with correct privileged information, and confirmed that Magnus is real, but said it would be the processor for a new Xbox.

The leakage diagram reveals a CPU with a 144mm² DIE to the Zen 6 nuclei, accompanied by a very large DIE of 264mm² for the GPU. And this is one of the reasons for Kepler to judge that we are seeing an Xbox processor.
According to him, the PlayStation and its designer, Mark Cerny, are more conservative with the size of the Die in their components. In addition, the resulting APU looks more expensive than we usually see on Sony consoles.
Another indication would be in the codename magnus of the hardware. Insider reminds us that Sony usually uses well -known Shakespeare characters as a codename of its PlayStation apus, so we are possibly not seeing a PS6 component. Kepler even says that this time he will be a storm character, but does not say which one.
Will we see 80 Compute Units based on UDNA?
The well -known “leak” is asked about the number of computational units (CUS) we can expect in the new hardware. In his answer, Kepler says “probably 80”, indicating that it is a kick, not a privileged information he may have obtained.
He says, however, that it is “almost identical” to the configuration of the GPU Navi 21, posting its diagram to illustrate.
