NVIDIA revealed more details about the GeForce RTX 5070 Tihighlighting the new Blackwell architecture, significant performance improvements, and a focus on advanced features like DLSS 4 and fourth-generation ray tracing. The model hits the market in February 2025, with a suggested price of US$ 749.

RTX 5070 Ti technical specifications

The RTX 5070 Ti uses the GB203 chip, a reduced version of the same GPU present in the RTX 5080, with 8960 CUDA cores and a boost clock of 2.45 GHz. The memory received a significant upgrade compared to the previous generation: 16GB GDDR7which reach a bandwidth of 896 GB/s, representing a 78% increase compared to the RTX 4070 Ti.

The Blackwell architecture also introduces the fifth generation of Tensor Cores and the fourth generation of Ray Tracing Cores, ensuring 133 TFLOPS of ray tracing performance.

These advancements enable the card to deliver an optimized experience in modern games and creative applications, with support for technologies such as Ray Reconstruction and Multi Frame Generation.

Performance in games and applications

With DLSS 4, the RTX 5070 Ti promises to double the performance compared to the RTX 4070 Ti, maintaining high frame rates at resolutions such as 1440p and 4K, even with ray tracing enabled.

In internal tests released by NVIDIA in the announcement, the card showed the ability to run demanding titles such as Cyberpunk 2077 and Alan Wake 2 at maximum settings with a fluid experience.

Additionally, for content creators, the presence of two ninth generation NVENC encoders and encoding support AV1 brings significant benefits to video editing and live streaming workflows.

Consumption and compatibility

With a TGP of 300W, the RTX 5070 Ti requires a power supply of at least 750W. The power connection is made through two 8-pin PCIe connectors (adapter included) or 300W PCIe Gen 5 cable. The card is compatible with PCIe 5.0 and DisplayPort 2.1b, supporting up to 4 monitors with resolutions of 4K at 480 Hz or 8K at 120 Hz with DSC.

NVIDIA confirmed that the RTX 5070 Ti will be available from February 2025 with an official suggested price of US$ 749in Founders Edition models and customized versions from partner manufacturers.
