This week, Intel released a driver update in two versions that brings fixes especially for games on the Arc B580. The updates are available in versions 101.6325 WHQL and 101.6253 in beta, and the patched titles include some successful releases, such as Elden Ring.
Interestingly, the list of fixes only contains new features for “Arc B series graphics products”. In other words, only for the Intel Arc B580, the only Battlemage commercially available at the moment. Check out the fixes below:
- The Crew Motorfest (Vulkan) could exhibit flickering corruption in some scenes.
- Saleco (Vulkan) could experience an application crash during game startup.
- Elden Ring (DirectX 12) could suffer from stuttering during gameplay in some scenes.
- Homeworld 3 (DirectX 12) could experience an application crash during game startup.
- F1 24 (DirectX 12) could have stuttering during gameplay with ray tracing turned on high.

As always, the update notes also contain a list of problems that are now known, but have not yet been fixed. This includes, of course, the Arc B580, which has bugs mainly in production tools and applications. In games, there are known problems in F1 24 and Skull and Bones, both in DirectX 12.

Arc B580 already has many early adopters
It is interesting for any company to work on new drivers and fix known problems as soon as possible, but in the case of the Arc B580 this becomes even more important. According to information from Intel itself, the card is proving to be a sales success, and the company will certainly want to capitalize on this popularity.

The company says that GPU models are already running out of stock at different resellers, which has even caused an increase in its attractive price of US$249 in some cases.
