Intel has released a new driver for its Arc-based GPUs, both dedicated and integrated into the processor. The update is still in beta, but it already comes with support for Zenless Zone Zero and brings performance improvements in Diablo IV.
Driver 101.5762 can now be downloaded from Intel’s official website. In addition to optimizing your GPUs for the latest gacha, the new version also brings support for Once Human. Arc series graphics cards and Intel Core Ultra processors will benefit from the update.
At the same time, the update improves the performance of these components in Diablo IV. Compared to the previous version of the driver, Intel promises up to 30% more frames per second in the game in FullHD and up to 35% more with the game in 1440p. Performance was measured with ray tracing turned on in both cases.
And, of course, the driver update also fixes some issues. On both integrated graphics and dedicated video cards, Plants vs. Zombies GOTY Edition should no longer lose performance with 3D acceleration turned on.
Kunitsu-Gami may have instability on Intel GPUs
In addition to the fixed issues, the patch notes warn of known bugs that may still occur. For example, it is worth noting that Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess (in DirectX 12) may present instability at launch on dedicated A-Series cards. Intel says that this only happens the first time the player opens the game, and closing and opening it again should resolve the issue.
Still talking about dedicated Arc video cards, the manufacturer listed other problems that may appear:
- Civilization V (DX11) pode crashar durante o gameplay
- No Man’s Sky (Vulkan) may crash during gameplay if the player Alt+Tabs
- Enshrouded (Vulkan) may crash during gameplay
- Doom Eternal (Vulkan) may experience corruption with flickering in the game menu and during gameplay
Likewise, integrated Arc graphics also have their list of issues:
- Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection (DX12) pode crashar no loading ou no gameplay
- Enshrouded (Vulkan) may crash during gameplay
