Summary
- The first renderings of the Galaxy S26 Plus indicate a new island-shaped camera module, with three main lenses.
- Rumors suggest the same 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED 2X panel, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or Exynos 2600 and 4,900 mAh battery.
- The Galaxy S26 series should be presented by Samsung between January and February 2026.
The first rendered images of the Galaxy S26 Plus were released this Monday (10/11) by the informant OnLeaks. The photos, not yet official, anticipate the look of Samsung’s new top of the line, scheduled for the beginning of 2026.
The main change would be in the rear camera module, now on a raised pill-shaped island. The leak counters rumors that Samsung had canceled the Plus line in favor of a thinner Edge variant.

According to the website Android Headlineswho released the images, the new design houses three main lenses arranged vertically. On the S25 Plus, each camera protrudes individually from the device’s housing.
Otherwise, the look is close to its predecessor: flat screen, thin edges and a centralized hole for the front camera. The dimensions should be around 158.4 x 75.7 x 7.35 mm — the same thickness as the previous model, which reinforces the hypothesis that the ultra-thin Edge version, measuring 5.8 mm, may have been left aside.
Possible 4,900 mAh battery
The renders were accompanied by a list of specs based on rumors. The S26 Plus is expected to maintain the 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED 2X panel, with QHD+ resolution (3120 x 1440) and adaptive refresh rate of 1-120 Hz.
Internally, the device should come equipped with Qualcomm’s recently announced Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 in some regions, and the Exynos 2600 (not yet official) for selected markets.
The device is likely to have RAM options of 12 GB or 16 GB (LPDDR5X), with internal storage of 256 GB or 512 GB (UFS 4.0), without expansion via microSD.

As for the battery, rumors indicate that the S26 Plus should maintain 4,900 mAh, the same capacity as its older brother. Everything indicates that wired charging will be 45 W and wireless charging (Qi2) will be 15 W, without the power adapter included in the box.
Regarding cameras, rumors so far do not point to major improvements. The hardware should be very similar to that of the S25 Plus, that is, a 50 MP main camera, a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 10 MP or 12 MP telephoto lens.
Has the S26 line strategy changed?

The Galaxy S26 series has been the subject of conflicting information in recent months. First, it was believed that Samsung would restructure, launching the S26 Pro, S26 Edge and S26 Ultra models. However, with the new information, the strategy appears to have returned to the traditional format (S26, S26 Plus and S26 Ultra).
The change of plans may have been motivated by sales of the Galaxy S25 Edge, which would have been below the company’s expectations. In Brazil, the model arrived in May this year, costing R$8,799.
With sales down, the standard S26 model would replace the “S26 Pro”, and the S26 Plus would take the place of the supposed “S26 Edge”. Still, the Dutch portal Galaxy Club reported last month that another slim device, codenamed “More Slim”, would be in development. It is not clear whether we are talking about a fourth model or whether it has also been discarded by Samsung.
Galaxy S26 Ultra may also have a new design
Information about the most advanced model in the line, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, also began to circulate. Leaker Tarun Vats released images of a supposed protective cover for the device, suggesting a design similar to that of the S26 Plus.
The images show that the S26 Ultra should also adopt an elevated camera “island” to group its three main lenses. Other rumors point to a 6.9-inch screen, 60W charging, a new 5x telephoto zoom sensor and a new orange color option.
The Galaxy S26 series is expected to be officially presented between January and February 2026.
