She claims that the MX-7 is the most efficient thermal paste it has ever produced, with prices between US$6 (R$33.02) and US$10 (R$55.03).

Arctic takes a different approach than other thermal paste brands by not emphasizing the thermal conductivity values of its products. As detailed in the technical sheet, the MX-7 is up to 22% less viscous than the MX-6 and approximately 12% denser than its predecessor.
In Arctic tests, using a Core Ultra 9 285K at 4.5 GHz and consuming around 284 W at an ambient temperature of 25 degrees Celsius, the MX-7 managed to reach temperatures around 3% lower than the MX-6 and up to 6% lower than the MX-4.
Additionally, thermal paste is completely safe for use with direct on-chip cooling solutions, as it is neither conductive nor capacitive. This means that the user does not need to worry about the risk of short circuits or discharges that could damage the devices.

Although MX-7 is less thick than MX-6, it still has a nice viscous consistency. Therefore, Arctic suggests avoiding spreading the paste with a spatula. Instead, applying it in a simple criss-cross pattern is the best option, letting the CPU cooler do the rest.
Cooler pressure will spread the MX-7 evenly, filling any gaps and ensuring complete coverage. This useful tip also works well for coolers with direct contact heat pipes.
Since the MX-7 is neither capacitive nor conductive, It’s easy to remove excess or old applications. Arctic also offers an MX Cleaner wipe. These wipes can be purchased together in a kit with the MX-7 for greater convenience.
