Despite Nvidia’s increasing focus on AI professional processing products, rumors have long appeared that the company works with Mediatek on N1 and N1X, its first CPUs based on ARM. And now we have a leak in Geekbench that reveals details about one of these variants.
According to Videocardz, N1 would be focused on notebooks, while the N1X for desktops. It is this second version of the processor that appeared listed in Geekbench, with its performance results.
As we can see in the capture below, the processor scored 3,096 in single-core and 18,837 in multi-core, installed in a system with Ubuntu 24.

In the image appears the base clock of 2.81GHz for N1X, but detailed results report that the processor would reach 4.05GHz in Boost. In addition, we can see the reading of 119.29GB of memory, an atypical number. It may be a reading error, or the system may have reserved 8GB for GPU, but a 128GB setting is expected.
Benchmark results leaks should be showy with skepticism, like any rumor. Still, it is interesting to make a comparison with the numbers that already appear for the N1X, with the awareness that even the release can change.
The results of Geekbench that appear for the new NVIDIA CPU are between Intel Core Ultra 9 285K, Core Ultra 9 285HX and Ryzen AI Max+ 395 for single-core:
- AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D: 3.345 pontos
- Intel Core Ultra 9 285K: 3.306 pontos
- Nvidia N1x (in Linux): 3,096 points
- Intel Core Ultra 9 285HX 3.088 pontos
- AMD Ryzen Ai Max+ 395: 2,978 points
In the multi-core test, the N1X surpasses the Ryzen 7 9800x3d in Geekbench, but is behind the others:
- Intel Core Ultra 9 285K: 22.104 pontos
- Intel Core Ultra 9 285HX: 22.104 pontos
- AMD Ryzen Ai Max+ 395: 21,269 points
- NVIDIA N1X (in Linux): 18,837 points
- AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D: 18.430 pontos
Would n1x be a version of the GB10 Superchip?
Rumors about the NVIDIA processor with MediaTek point to the possibility of N1X being a slightly modified version of the GB10 Superchip, and the leakage of CPU details seem to corroborate it.

According to geekbench, the new CPU also has 20 nuclei, as well as the ARMV8 -based GB10 Superchip. We can see some difference in the integrated GPU, which has not yet appeared in leaks, but if it follows the same configuration of the GB10, it will be 6,144 CUDA centers.

There were rumors that we would see some official N1X announcement on Computex 2025, but it was not the case. Now there is no forecast of when Nvidia will finally talk about its new processor.
