MSI announced that the new 0x12B microcode for BIOS for Intel Z790 and B760 motherboards is now available for download in beta version, seeking to correct all instability issues seen on 13th and 14th Generation CPUs.
Intel recently disclosed all the causes that caused problems with Raptor Lake processors and stated that the 0x12B microcode would resolve the situation, but that it would take time to be available to all manufacturers. However, the manufacturer went ahead and managed to guarantee the BIOS update for its products.

It’s important to note that the beta update to the 0x12B microcode for MSI motherboards supposedly does not interfere with the performance of its Intel processors. The corporation itself guaranteed that users would not see differences in applications and games.
According to Intel, there will be no major differences in terms of performance with the arrival of the new BIOS version for its commercial partners – according to benchmarks and tests carried out internally.
Even though it is in the beta stage, MSI announced that it intends to include more Intel motherboard models in the coming days – so it is expected that this list will increase even further and that other manufacturers will follow in its footsteps.
