MSI prepares portalx to allow to control the RGB of your PC directly through the browser

While there is an opinion divergence about the aesthetics of the various RGB lights in modern components, the fact is that it is often difficult to buy a product without them. Thus, many users are required to install dedicated apps to control and customize the color of their builds, and MSI intends to facilitate this process with Portalx.

Portalx serves to customize and synchronize the color lights in the different components of your PC, like any other app of the type. Its great differential, however, is that it is entirely based on the internet browser, dispensing with the installation of a dedicated program for its use.

“This platform does not need the need for software installation-simply access it through your browser to easily manage the effects of RGB lights from your devices,” says MSI in the official portalx disclosure.

Another aspect of its new tool that MSI emphasizes a lot is the ease of use. According to the company, Portalx has a simple and intuitive interface to make it easy to customize each piece individually and synchronization of the system as a whole.

MSI does not reveal much information about Portalx

Unfortunately we still have no details about the new platform. MSI reports that Portalx will be compatible with Windows only in its release, but does not say, for example, which browsers the tool will work.

In addition, many questions are raised about the security of leaving a browser -based service to access your system hardware settings. It would be interesting to disseminate more understanding details of how these changes are made by the site.
