MSI announced this week the launch of the next generation of its MAG Coreliquid line of AIO CPU coolers. The new MAG Coreliquid I360 and I240 come with 360mm and 240mm radiators, respectively. At the moment, only the larger model has a page on the manufacturer’s official website.
MSI’s big highlight for its new coolers is the look of the CPU block, which features an angled light effect, taking in the top and a bit of the side. The idea is to create a 3D “illusion” effect, according to the company. The Coreliquid is available in black and white, as shown in the image below:
Moving on to the technical part, we have a 3,400 RPM pump, with an average operating noise of 20db. The radiator has a 27mm thick aluminum plate for cooling, with 12 internal channels for the water to pass through. The fans, equipped with ARGB lights, spin at 2350RPM for a maximum air volume of up to 70.7 CFM.
In terms of durability, the new MAG Coreliquid I-series have different estimates for the pump and the radiator. According to MSI, the pump is expected to last 50,000 hours, while the fans would reach 30,000 hours.
MAG Coreliquid I360 is available for Intel and AMD
As usual for this product segment, MSI’s new AIO coolers can be installed on either an Intel or AMD socket. They are compatible with 115X, 1200 and 1700 boards, as well as AM4 and AM5.
At the moment, only the MAG Coreliquid I360 is available for sale, at a suggested retail price of US$98. At the current exchange rate, this is the equivalent of R$550, approximately.
MSI unfortunately chose not to disclose the prices or release date for the smaller version of the cooler, with a 240mm radiator.
