MEG Trident, MSI’s all-in-one gaming PC, enters its new generation offering advanced hardware and its HMI 2.0 touch control panel. The main novelty of the MEG Trident X2 14th is the processor options, now with 14th generation Intel Core, as indicated by the name.
The computer’s bold design, along with its HMI 2.0 panel, was already featured in the previous version of the PC, presented at CES 2023. The small touch-sensitive panel on the case provides system monitoring information and direct control of certain settings for the user. It is possible, for example, to quickly change performance profiles or even launch some compatible applications directly by touch.

MSI’s official website does not have a price simulator for the product, but in an “average” configuration disclosed to Guru3D, the price was around US$ 3,500. That’s R$ 19,245 at the current dollar exchange rate.
HMI 2.0 panel is modest compared to MSI MEG Vision X AI
The HMI 2.0 touch panel on the Trident X2 14th is discreet when we remember the MEG Vision X AI, another complete PC from MSI. It was presented at CES 2024 in January, with a huge screen in the case.
Even though it basically puts a tablet built into the computer and highlights AI – the trend of the moment – even in the product name, the MEG Vision X AI ended up drawing more attention for another reason. That’s because, in its announcement, MSI promised a “next-gen” GPU for the PC, which raised speculation about the presence of a possible yet-to-be-released RTX 5080 or 5090.
Nvidia’s new Blackwell-based home graphics cards are expected to arrive later this year. Will the Trident X2 14th be updated with more options after its release? Let’s wait and see.
