MSI announced this week a new mini PC in NUC format, considered very compact until compared to other small computers in the segment. MSI Cubi NUC AI+ 2mg features Intel Lunar Lake processor options and two thunderbolt 4 ports.
Although it does not have the simplest name to pronounce, the new mini PC has very robust settings. It is not always that we see two doors with Thunderbolt 4 interface on such a device, but in return the two other USB ports are only 2.0.
In terms of processor, interested users will be able to choose the Intel Core Ultra 5 226V, Core Ultra 7 258V or Core Ultra 9 288V. The most affordable model comes with integrated ARC 130V charts, while the other two use ARC 140V. Unsurprisingly, Cubi Nuc Ai+ 2mg does not offer dedicated video card.
A Copilot+ PC in NUC format
MSI highlights in its promotion of the new mini PC that Cubi Nuc Ai+ 2mg is a Copilot+ PC. This means that your processor options exceed the minimum processing performance to Microsoft to offer the commercial seal of your artificial intelligence.
While the minimum order for a Copilot+ PC is 40tops, Lunar Lake processors promise up to 48top performance. This way, the new mini PC even brings a button to the Copilot on the case itself.
The manufacturer highlights Windows AI resources, such as Live Captions, Cocreator and the Controversy Recall.
MSI doesn’t talk about prices, but Mini PC already appears for sale in the USA
MSI has not yet disclosed the Official Suggested Price (MSRP) to its new mini PC, but the product already appears listed at the B&H store in the US. The Core Ultra 7 version costs $ 899 ($ ​​4,932) and the model with Core Ultra 9 goes to $ 999 ($ ​​5,481). The option with Core Ultra 5 does not appear on the site.
