A Motorola regained second place in the Brazilian smartphone market, surpassing Apple. According to June 2024 data from Statcounter, Motorola’s share grew to 18.81%, while Samsung maintained the lead with 35.66%.

This advancement by Motorola comes after the launch of the models Edge 50 Fusion, Edge 50 Pro e Edge 50 Ultraintensifying competition with Samsung’s mid-range devices.

Meanwhile, Apple has focused its efforts on notebooks and tablets, postponing smartphone news until the second half of the year, when the iPhone 16 and 16 Pro are expected to be launched. Xiaomi also showed growth, reaching 15.65% of the market, driven by the launches of Redmi 13C 5G and Redmi A3.
