Montech launched its new XR Wood offices this week. The company points out that the cases are part of their X Series, but – as suggested by the name – bring wood details as a differential. Products are available in black and white, and both accompany adornments made with walnut wood on the front panel.
“This neat design not only improves the aesthetic appeal of its setup, but it also demonstrates the beauty of natural materials,” says Montech. Despite bringing wood even in the name, the new XR Wood offices have very discreet details with the material.
Still in the aesthetic part, one of the side panels is made of tempered glass, while all others are made of metal and offer some sifted surface for greater air flow.
Being ATX cases, the new XR Wood have plenty of space for internal components. They come with four pre-installed 120mm ARGB Fans, and offer room for more fans in the following provisions:
Going to the other components, the XR Wood holds CPU coolers up to 175mm high and considerable GPUS: up to 420mm. The source can measure up to 230mm and there are spaces for two 3.5 ”HDDs and two 2.5” SSDs.

Montech’s new woody offices measure 475 x 230 x 456mm, and support motherboards of ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-itx models. In the I/O part we have a USB-C port, two USB-A 3.0 and independent analog connectors for sound output and microphone on the front of the cases.
