Minisforum is launching its UM890 Pro mini PC, which stands out for accompanying the AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS “Hawk Point” CPU – which uses the Zen 4 architecture and features 8 cores and 16 threads, with a frequency that can reach up to 5.2 GHz.
To ensure the stability of the device, the manufacturer also states that it will be sold with the Cold Wave 2.2 cooling system – with support for quick detachment, making maintenance and even future upgrades simpler.

By using the AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS processor, Minisforum’s UM890 Pro also features the use of integrated Radeon 780M graphics – which can reach a peak of 2.8 GHz and meets the main demands of users in relation to gaming and professionals, in addition of supporting artificial intelligence tasks to a certain degree.
The mini PC also has a dual channel of DDR5 memory, with a speed of up to 5,600 MHz and a maximum capacity of 96GB. Additionally, the user can install two M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 SSDs simultaneously and support up to 8TB.
In terms of connectivity, the UM890 Pro offers HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4 and USB4 interfaces – with Minisforum guaranteeing support for high definition video and audio transmission. According to the specifications, the device supports up to four simultaneous displays and reaches a maximum resolution of 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 144 Hz.
