Mini PC in the form of a foldable keyboard arrives on Kickstarter

LingLong turned heads in July when it revealed its new mini PC in the form of a foldable keyboard. With an emphasis on portability, the product features a Ryzen processor and great autonomy, as it does not include a screen. Now, the project enters Kickstarter, with its official name Lunar.

Interestingly, LingLong set a goal of just $1,673 on the project, so it was already surpassed very easily. At the time of writing this post, fundraising for the Lunar mini PC has already exceeded US$30,000, and will continue to receive orders for another 26 days.

The specs of the laptop in the form of a foldable keyboard remain the same as its first official announcement:

• Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 8840U
• Memory: 16 or 32GB of RAM
• Storage: 512GB or 1TB SSD | M.2 NVMe 2230
• Bateria: 16.000mAh
• Connections: Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth | One USB 3.0 Type-A port and two USB Type-C ports (4.0 and 3.2)

Therefore, the amounts to support the mini PC Kickstarter vary across memories. LingLong has prepared promotional levels with limited units for those who come first, but the standard values ​​are below:

Mini PC in the form of a keyboard became more expensive and arrives in January

LingLong initially launched the Lunar in the “beta” phase, distributing just 200 units in China for considerably lower prices – US$412 and US$495, for each version.

In other words, Kickstarter buyers will have to pay more for the product. The good side, however, is that the manufacturer promises international distribution for its mini PC in the form of a keyboard, so it is possible to buy it here in Brazil too. LingLong promises to start shipping its products in January 2025.
