Mini PC Firebat F1 P comes equipped with the little-known Ryzen 7 H 255

Compact computers with Ryzen processors have become increasingly popular, so it’s no surprise when another one of these models appears. But the Firebat F1 P managed to attract attention when it was announced with a little-known APU, the Ryzen 7 H 255.

It’s a naming style that can easily be confused with the Intel style of naming its components, but the Ryzen brand has already been closely tied to AMD for many years. In any case, the “mysterious” processor in question is nothing more than a revised Ryzen 7 8745H that was launched only in China.

In other words, the Firebat F1 P uses a Hawk Point APU with 8 cores and 16 threads, accompanied by 16MB of L3 cache. Clocks are at 3.5GHz base and up to 4.9GHz boost, with a TDP of 45W. The graphics are provided by an integrated Radeon 780M GPU.

Accompanying these specifications with 16GB of DDR5-5600 memory and a 512GB SSD, the Firebat F1 P should offer enough performance for smooth everyday use and even heavier workloads. It supports expansion up to 64GB of RAM and comes with an additional empty M.2 slot for an extra SSD.

Firebat’s mini PC powered by the unusual Ryzen 7 H 255 comes with an HDMI 2.0 and a DisplayPort 1.4 port, plus a front-facing USB-C 4.0 that supports DisplayPort, for a total of three video outputs. In addition, there are six USB-A 3.2 ports – two at the front and four at the back, accompanied by an Ethernet port.
