During this Sunday’s Xbox Showcase (8), Microsoft settled the visuals and names of the laptops it is preparing with Asus. With debut still scheduled for 2025, Rog Xbox Ally and Rog Xbox Ally X promise to offer access to multiple games natively or by cloud.
According to the company, what will differentiate both models is both color and hardware – Ally X, for example, will have black finish and more power. However, the company did not clarify further details about what will be the official price of the products or their debut dates.

According to Microsoft, the new models will arrive from the factory capable of Running games bought from Xbox store, Battle.net, Gog, Ubisoft Connect and Steam. Rog Xbox Ally promises versatility
In an interview with Game File, Asus Consumer Division Vice President Shawn Yen, explained what type of performance laptops should offer. According to him, the basic model reproduces well games in 720p, while Ally x should be able to run titles with native resolution ranging from 900p to 1080p.
He also pointed out that, like the Rog Xbox Ally x runs Windows, he will also be able to connect to Discord or watch Twitch broadcasts. In addition, it will also be possible to install mods and any other software seen on a conventional PC.
Roanne Sones of Microsoft explained that the operating system was adjusted to minimize background activities, ensuring better performance in games. “This means Amis Memory, higher framers and a totally immersive experience for players – all made possible by Windows’s versatility and freedom.”
Microsoft seeks better games optimization
The company also stated that it is launching a program of partners to ensure greater optimization of games that run on Rog Xbox Ally X. The first title to take advantage of this will be Robloxwhich is first optimized for a fully portable device.
The company has already confirmed that Brazil is not on the list of countries that will receive the first waves of laptops later this year. However, she has assured that she will include other markets soon, considering the places “where the products in the Rog Ally series are currently sold.”
