Memory DDR5 XPG Lancer RGB reaches 12.762mt/s in a new overclock record

The search for the most extremely possible overclocking in DDR5 memory modules has been one of the most competitive in the segment. With professionals seeking increasingly high numbers, Hicookie managed to beat her own record and establish 12,762.4mt/s using XPG Lancer RGB modules.

The information was released by Adata itself, the memories manufacturer, but can be seen on the official HWBOT platform. Hicookie now managed to add more distance from Splave, which appears in second position with 12,735mt/s in modules G.Skill Trident Z5.

What draws attention in the new record is that the only difference to the previous one is XPG memory. Overclocker kept the Gigabyte’s Z890 Ice Plate, accompanied by the same Intel Core 9 285K processor that used when it got 12.752mt/s in V-Color Manta Xinity memories. Liquid cooling was also maintained, obviously.

Hicookie attributes the new achievement to Adata’s XPG memories. He says they are “easy to manage temperature, strong and soft quality like silk.” For those interested, the timings of the components were in Cl68-127-127-254, the same as the previous record.

It is interesting to note that ADATA offers many credits to the Z890 Plate Aorus Tachyon Ice in its release of the record, including the use of AI by Gigabyte in the development of the component.

According to the manufacturer, XPG Lancer RGB DDR5 memories are equipped with a high quality PMIC (PMIC), and also feature ECC (Erc Correction Code), which is most common in professional products.
