Chinese manufacturer Maxsun came out ahead of other AIBs and was the first to reveal its debut versions for the Intel Arc B580 GPU, after the official announcement of the Battlemage generation. There are two models with very different colors and designs, iCraft and Milestone.
Both models maintain the reference design of the new Intel card, with 20 Xe2 cores, 12GB of VRAM and PCIe 4.0 x8 interface. The Arc B580 iCraft version, however, belongs to the series of Maxsun boards aimed at overclocking, featuring three fans and a white housing with blue details.
The Arc B580 Milestone model is “simpler”, featuring only two fans, which results in a very reduced profile. The board is made in black and has a new design detail in Maxsun models, which is the red ring around one of the fans. From the image, it doesn’t appear to be RGB lights in this case.
It is curious that the first Battlemage from an AIB to appear in leaks was the Arc B580 from ASRock, shown in images in more than one situation. Still, Maxsun managed to take the lead in revealing its models after Intel’s official announcement.
Maxsun presents only Arc B580 models
In revealing its first GPUs, Maxsun only showed Arc B580 models, which is to be expected. As Intel explained in its announcement, these GPUs arrive early, as early as December 13th and in time for Christmas.
But sober Battlemage:
The Arc B570 variants are due in January, so it makes sense that the AIBs will only focus on the most advanced version for now.
Maxsun unfortunately did not discuss prices for its modified versions of the Arc B580. The official price is US$249 for the model, which is approximately R$1,515 at the current price. The Arc B570 will be $30 cheaper.
