Manufacturer Maxsun registered an extensive list of motherboards with the EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission), revealing what consumers should expect from announcements at Computex 2024. Among the models seen are the Z890, B860 and H810 – which should be the new hardware from Intel – and the B850 and B840 – which will belong to AMD.
All models are being produced with artificial intelligence in mind, taking into account that both Intel Core Ultra 200 CPUs and the new AMD “Strix Point” and “Granite Ridge” lines will rely on this feature for so-called “AI PCs”.

Maxsun confirms changes at AMD
Rumors suggested that AMD would change the nomenclature of its next CPUs and motherboards – trying to get closer to Intel in its numbering. Maxsun confirms this, listing that in fact the next AM5 models will arrive as B850 and B840 (with a jump from the current B650).
The B840 version may be being produced as a more economical version of its hardware, but nothing has been officially confirmed by AMD so far. Furthermore, it was not revealed how the Extreme versions (which were sold with the “E” suffix) will change. More details should be released during Computex 2024.
