Cooler Master has unveiled the MasterLiquid 360 Ion, its new AIO liquid cooling cooler. The manufacturer has decided to jump on the bandwagon of small displays on the CPU block, so this is their first cooler with this feature.
The MasterLiquid 360 Ion is a top-of-the-line cooler, so it comes with advanced features in addition to aesthetics. It features a Gen X dual-chamber design and comes equipped with three 120mm Mobius fans from Cooler Master. Everything is attached to the case with brackets, making installation easier, according to the manufacturer.
“Our technical expertise is built into the MasterLiquid 360 Ion, designed to deliver unmatched cooling performance and customization,” said Jimmy Sha, CEO of the company. “This product sets our users up for success by ensuring their systems run smoothly and efficiently.”
The display on the pump above the processor is nothing new in coolers of this type, but it is a first for Cooler Master. It is a 2.1” LCD screen, and the images can be customized using the manufacturer’s MasterCTRL software. The program also controls the product’s colored ARGB LEDs.
Unfortunately, the manufacturer has not yet spoken about the release date or prices for its new AIO cooler.
Cooler Master has invested in customization
The owner of MasterLiquid 360 Ion even has the word cooler in its name, but it has long invested in a broad portfolio of products. Recently, the company has been investing in alternatives for those looking for more unique and/or differentiated products.
At the beginning of the year, the Shark X shark-shaped PC was one of the company’s highlights at its CES 2024 booth. Shortly after, during Computex, Cooler Master also showed a fanless PC and a programmable mini arcade game.
Considering the company’s focus on customization, it took a while for its first AIO cooler with a customizable screen to appear. After all, the manufacturer has even made colored thermal paste.
